Gianluca Fellini was born in Rimini, Italy, in 1981. During a surfing trip in California in 2004, he discovered his love and talent for photography. Without hesitation, he quit his professional basketball career, and his law studies in Italy, and moved to New York city to pursue his newly found photographic passion. Since then, he has been commissioned internationally for numerous editorials and advertising campaigns. His talent in photography also expanded to other mediums, such as film.
Since 2008, he's directed and filmed various motion works, including music videos for Tokio Hotel and fashion videos for YSL, Vman, Amica and many more. He is currently working on his first feature length movie "Ad Zurneda".
In 2014, Fellini received the best cinematography and best short movie awards at the New York and Sacramento HorrorFilm Festival for his work as Director of Photography on the short film Deep Red Dandelions.
Gianluca's work has been exhibited at the Chelsea Museum, White Box In New York, Miami Basel Art Fairs 2012, Holy Bos Festival in Brooklyn, And Lincoln Center In New York City.
Gianluca also is a yoga propagator since 2013 after his studies at the school of yoga "Sanathana" in Kochin, India.
In December 2012, Fellini’s series "can't find my way home" formed his first solo show in Barcelona with Oblyon Global Art Advisory.
